Overview

Institutional and commercial buildings consume large amounts of energy, much of it lost in ways that stay invisible without systematic measurement. Where exactly do those losses occur, and which fixes return the most savings for the least capital outlay across a typical facility on a busy campus?

The work applies an energy audit framework that maps how electricity, heat, and cooling are used across selected facilities, then benchmarks what it finds against Indian and international efficiency standards.
